State auditor and Republican Senate nominee Matt Rosendale has taken an 11th-hour lead in Montana over Democrat Sen. Jon Tester (D-MT), surging ahead of the Democrat in the wake of President Donald Trumps latest rally there on Saturday. A Change Research poll released late Sunday evening shows Rosendale, at 49 percent, leading Testers 46 percent. Libertarian Rick Breckenridge, who dropped out last week and endorsed Rosendales campaign saying a Rosendale win is better for the liberty cause than a Tester win, got three percent in this survey.
Tester only leads 51-38 among independents, and that's probably not enough for him to win. And Montana's political trends don't seem to be in his favor.

I see Vukmir and James wins.
And Trump thinks OHs Brown can be put out to be pasture.
The stop in Cleveland is proof of the GOP Mo.
Plus the failing NYT now says its too close to call. LOL!
Exactly the same thing the media wrote before the 1980 Reagan landslide.
Trump was certainly On Fire last night in Tenn. (as viewed from a video stream.)
Those turds will fall into line. They will just be more Rand Pauls, say a bunch of crap to get attention and vote with the party anyways cause they don’t want to alienate their base.
Super Majority plus 3 would be really nice.
need it!
His crowds are getting bigger.
People want to be with the winner. Its human nature.
Look out for sellout crowds today.
This is why it’s impossible to use past mid-terms trends to predict this mid-term. No president has compaigned this extensively for mid-terms like Trump has.
I think you have to throw everything in the past out the window as we are witnessing a black swan event.
Come on, Big Sky Country.
You’re my blue sky, you’re my sunny day.
I agree itll be a black swan election.
People who vote Democrat are tired of winning.
No indication the country is yet tired of winning!
I’m definitely going to tune into the Cape Girardeau finale tonight.
Will all of MO come? That would be cool!
Sweet! This would be a really nice pickup. If it holds, the Republicans will gain 5 seats in the Senate IMO. Thatd be a serious drubbing for Schumer.
NRF/Harris has Tester up by 6. Don’t pay attention to polls. Just get out and vote.
I would love to see him knocked off!
Montana has a boatload of LDS folks, and this is part of it. LDS folks value politeness, even if they are stabbing you in the neck, over everything. I’m not kidding. I live in Utah as a non-Mormon and I see this every day.
These are some strange cats, here. Very polite and not terribly smart.
Why do you think Mitt picked Utah to run in? Because he determined this was the most brain dead voters in the US that would buy the crap he was selling. With the help of the all powerful LDS church, of course.
I predict we’ll be stuck with Mitt for 25 years or so. By then, he’ll have one of his sons teed up.
I dont trust polls but today seems to be filled with ones that (cough) have a late break for the Republicans. Hmmmm.
The fake polls are now reflecting reality. They need to preserve their credibility.
All of a sudden the election is too close to call. Of course.
They told us that in 1980. Guess who won.
Here’s another indicator: they’ve got Obama campaigning in northern Illinois and northern VA. But Illinois is bright blue, and Barbara Comstock (GOP incumbent in NoVA) was already defeated, right?
One more thing (that another observer pointed out): where’s all the talk about the decisive “yute” vote? In key states like FL and AZ, the average age of an early voter was around 60, and the Dims are running way behind the EV totals they had two years ago, when Trump won those states.
People want to be with the winner. Its human nature.
No...its greater than that.
People want to be part of a unique historical event
People want to absorb the amazing intensity of the attendees
People want to experience in person a once in a lifetime event.
Zero is out campaigning tells me they are really worried about black turn out!
Thunderstorms in Fairfax Va tomorrow!
Neither side is campaigning in swing states.
Theyre trying to get out their base voters.
Control of Congress will be decided by which side gets its voters out to the polls.
