A Mormon friend of mine told me that they are through with their long BSA association as of the close of this calendar year. They were a little slower to wind things down because some of their boys were working on their Eagle badge. Come 2019, they will roll out a whole new program.

Several of the more conservative Protestant sects have already bailed. There are at least two alternatives that I am aware of at this time.

Catholics aren't doing anything for now, but it is inevitable that they will . . . it is only the homo loving Pope Frank and the clergy abuse scandal standing the the way now.

Two of the largest groups of Boy Scouts elsewhere in the world (India and Japan) aren't going along with the homo agenda. They are being left alone. For now.
