The best way to be in control is to do everything you can to be ready for whatever may come. Plan your work and work your plan. Define your strategy, establish your command & control, position your assets, and always factor in the potential for unexpected contingencies. All this takes precious time.
I never heard any successful leader say that preparing is being hysterical. Not one.
What is hysterical are all the demands for mass killings. It won’t come to that but this makes FR look like a refuge for nutcases.
I have never said preparations should not be made and can see that they are.
