There are millions of people doing without medical care in the ruined private sector of the U.S.A., too, because of socialism (group plans for everyone sponging off the government for decades, resulting in sky high medical costs).

So much focus outward, on foreign countries. It’s what commie/fascist nations do.

I hear you.

Sometimes I am grateful to have lived a full life. I could never imagine the escalating decline of the once spotless American hospital.

Please everyone, go back and read Ayn Rand's beautiful ode to doctors in Atlas Shrugged. If anyone still believes that every “pre-existing” condition gets treated at the same price as healthy ones, you are foolish and the medicine will not be there for you once the best doctors quit.

Doctors started quitting, the best and the brightest, when the State started “Capitating” payments to them. This all started with the War on Poverty. In my youth, we went without if my dad couldn't afford our doc bills. Family's humbled themselves and asked for charity - something Americans were loath to do prior to the Socialist Takeover of medicine called Medicare.

No one is entitled to the wealth earned by another. But that is what socialism is. And doctors used to be stubbornly independent because your very life depended on his clinical judgement. These types quit. We have some good docs here and there. Thanks to their machines and tests, they substitute actual thought with looking at readouts.

I know of what I speak. I'm glad I won't get to watch my kids and grandkids suffer under the mantra “no pre-existing” condition will go unpaid for if your family doesn't earn enough money for top of the line treatment.

Who would have believed that every single politician is now embracing socialized medicine? Heartbreaks for our progeny.
