It’s a small thing you can do - like voting.
If everyone changed the channel as soon as Shep Smith came on, his Nielson ratings would tank.
Don’t turn the TV off or put it on mute - that will have no effect on Shep’s ratings.
Wait until he actually starts his show, and then change the channel. The Nielson folks will register this, and his ratings will go down.
Do the same for the weekend “America’s News HQ”.
Your vote counts, folks! Not only in this midterm battle, but in the war against fake news!
On the other hand, if you like a show (like Hannity, for example), DVR it and watch the recordings.
The Nielson folks can see this too.
