Why does everyone want everyone in the USA to unite? (Ryan is a clown and idiot and I’m so glad he is on his way out of office, wish he was gonna be out of publicfor good too).
I heard a caller on that washington morning C-span show recently - he explained it well, if the country were truly united it would be one party/power rule.
Our founders set us up to have adversarily form of government on purpose so we would never have a king or dictator or one party rule.

I now understand that Paul Ryan has the intellect and diplomatic skills to do what is needed in government. However, he lacks the strength of character or commitment to conservative solutions to act as a leader.
Give Paul a script he likes, one with defined do’s and don’ts and he’s a good actor.
Put Paul in an unpredictable situation, where one must make their own rules, perhaps even break the rules of social decorum, and Paul becomes cowed, lost, muted.
The defining moment of clarity was during the first debate Paul Ryan had with Joe Biden. I’ll never forget how Paul was completely thrown off his game by Joe’s barroom brawling manner of speaking. All social courtesies were flushed down the commode. Paul was not ready for that, not even by their next debate.
