“Are you saying that republicans participate in this too?”

We do now. We are slow to burn, but when we do, we don’t wear it around like the mental party. Instead, we think, plan, but don’t advertise. Then we respond, at the right time, not react like them.

We are quietly burning, and are The Trump Army. All we needed was a real leader.

I vote in person. My signature is on the ballot envelope and my conservatism is no secret. I don’t trust my ballot to be delivered in the mail.

Agreed. The yahoos here are no better than democrats blaming everything else, usually voter fraud, for losses.

Broward turned out in a big way today. Democrats will likely take the lead for the in-person early vote by about 5k (so a 10k shift on Sunday).

VBM is looking fine we may give up a few thousand but will still comfortably lead that by about 60k after today.

When I was in Hanover Park, IL, my 7 precincts swung back and forth repeatedly, from a D high of 85% to R high of 87%. Only 15% were hard R. Only 13% were hard D.

My experience going back many years in many parts of IL is that most voters are swing voters.

Now in GA precincts near me flipped from 85% for Clinton to 55% and 65% for the Republican candidate for mayor.

My observation is that more people are what I call swing voters or strategic voters, than independents.

Strategic voters? In 1992 Republican House Minority Leader Bob Michels told talk radio that we should support Democrat Al-the-Pal because they did favors for each other, aka the swamp.

Talk-radio rebelled. We voted en masse in the Democrat primary against Al-the-Pal. Carole Mosley Braun won. Six years later we who voted for her in 1992 voted for Peter Fitgerald. Stategic voting.

I hope they don’t get used to jones. I see that happen in PA, FL and other reddish areas. Although FL finally will change that.
