Where would you get your public IP address from and your domain nam?. How would you finance your "own server". What about the electricity.
All of those things can be denied to you similar to what happened to GAB today.

MSN has leaned on Gab. Apple has leaned on Gab. Google has as well. All the above and more have exerted as much pressure as they can on Gab to censor free speech.
If you have any doubts about it just research what’s been done by the tech giants to pressure Gab in the last couple years.
