No. I said that there was "a 'citizenry' that 'thought for itself.'" There still is. It appears, though, that you haven't realized that, yet.

That's a fallacy. Any group meeting for a common purpose is a collective, including those who are trying to impose their idiotic wishes for their imagined global utopia and their unhealthy social practices on the rest of us.
