"How do all these Bims show up at addresses all over the country on the same day and are found within a few hours of each other, including the one that was return to sender at DWS in Florida?"

So we have that, and the timer. Timers don't go with mail bombs. Mail bombs are ignited when opened--not when the clock reaches whatever.

The rest could work. A wire in each end could work, although that would be semi-retarded. Two wires come out of the same end of a blasting cap. Don't know if such a little clock would be within a good voltage range, or whether it would supply enough current. Could be made to do so, though.

I worked with demo in the National Guard, by the way. No one is an expert on the matter, but that's why I'm discussing it as though I have some knowledge (legitimate, clean cut, etc.).

The “bombs” didn’t all show up on the same day, if the article is accurate. It states that 4 of the bombs were found over “recent days”.

Idiot bint writes that authorities didn’t say whether the powder inside the “bombs” was explosive, but she keep calling the objects “explosives”.
