There is a significant and unavoidable math problem when it comes to the so-called migrant caravan that is headed toward the United States border. The caravan is now said to have more than 5,000 people from Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Mexico walking north. The people spilled across the border into Mexico when authorities there claimed to be overwhelmed.
Currently they are just over 1,230 miles from reaching Laredo, Texas. According to Google maps that is a walk that would take more than 400 hours to complete.
So how is it that they are expecting reach the U.S. border by Election Day or before? I mean even if these people with no shelter, food, or water walked 16 hours a day — every day — it would take them more than 25 days to reach Texas. Election Day is now only two weeks away.
You see a lot of things are just not adding up.
If the average person walks 3 miles per hour (and they do) — then walking 16 hours a day would get you 48 miles down the road. However, there are kids and families and chaos it looks like to me.
What’s also remarkable is this group began roughly 1,770 miles from the border. That was just a few days and a couple international borders ago. So they have already covered something like 540 miles. That by the way should have taken more than 11 days — if, and it’s a big if, if they were covering 48 miles a day. Somehow they have been able to travel remarkable distances with TV cameras everywhere and not one reporter has explained this incredible feat.

What precisely will the Mexican government do if President Trump sends troops across the border to intercept a mob that is clearly being averted by Mexico? Nada.
To start with they aren’t going to Texas, they’re going to CA where the liberals will let them right in.
The 2nd think is they will have help getting to the border, namely busses to take them there.
My question is how are all of these people eating? Who is paying for the food? Feeding 5,000 people several times a day is a MAJOR project.
The media is intentionally totally uninterested in the logistics of this invasion. Remember, "An army marches on its stomach."
I did road marches.
Even with a 10 mile per day average, many of them would suffer hip stress fractures. And that would be with enormous numbers of calories’ worth of good nutrition. They could walk 20 miles or more in one day, but they would then need to rest one afterwards.
And yeah, they’re receiving huge amounts of very special supplies from others.
It’s a staged drama with a lack of objective observers reporting what happens around the clock, including overnights. There’s much monkey business going on with many different indicators of that.
So we are going to fly drones over a sovereign nation and attack people indiscriminately? Yup...that’s a good idea. //sarc.
I walk 3-6 miles some days. But I have to say that my leg muscles are tight the next day or two.
I can’t see walking 48 miles a day for a week without building up to that.

And if the goal was merely to escape Horrible Honduras and Gutemalan Gulags, they are already FREE.
This is about coming to get benefits from Uncle Sugar and send money received here HOME to Honduras as they persist in waving the flag of their “horrible” homeland.
And it will continue to backfire on them.
Joe Digenova said yesterday that the US could repel an invading army on Mexican soil due to the fact that Mexico allowed them to pass through their country. International law says a refugee must apply for sanctuary in the first country he enters and this caravan did not. They are therefore not refugees but invaders bent on breaking the laws of the us.
These SO CALLED refugees all seem to be very well dressed nice shoes and back packs this stuff came from somewhere, WHERE???
We did it to Pakistan when they colluded with Osama Bin Laden to shield him from capture.
These nations are not doing squat to stop this threat because they are enemies of Estados Unidos.
Not to mention that an ‘army’ that size must move to eat. If it sits still it starves. It would seem to me that the local authorities, and possibly the Mexican government, would see it as “in their interest” to facilitate the move northward. This would minimize the damage along the route of march.

You are talking about attacking 5,000 people. I don’t think a dozen guys in a couple of choppers is going to get that done.
Those people are coming. The thing to do is prepare for them to arrive. THAT is where we win or lose.
