I have heard that petitions are useless.
The most effective thing is a letter or phone call to your reps, your congressman and senators.
The reasoning is that someone who takes the time to do something like that, especially a letter, is very serious about it and that they consider that for every person who writes, it represents some number of people who don’t say anything.
Email would also be pretty effective, I would think, but I guess the letter has the most impact.
Trust me I have done that many, many times over many years and will continue to do that.
I was hoping a petition would show that many support securing the border, stopping illegal immigration. Especially support for stopping this newest stunt with the Central Americans.
