Nothing will work as long as we accept the notion that anyone can claim “asylum”. Put the entire military on the border if you want. Build a hundred foot wall. If claiming “asylum” gets you a free ride to the nearest bus station and a free ticket to Anywhere USA... and it does... then nothing will stop this. There is no border.
