Warren took DNA test to help rebuild “trust in government” [barf]

Democratic U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren said Sunday that she changed her mind recently and took a DNA test proving her heritage because Americans’ trust in government is “at an all-time low” and she wanted to help rebuild it by being transparent.

Ultimately, she said, she took a DNA test because she believes one way to rebuild trust in government is by posting her full family history online “so anybody can take a look. … I believe one way that we try to rebuild confidence is through transparency.”

Diehl shot back that the issue “is not about Sen. Warren’s ancestry, it’s about integrity in my mind, and I don’t care whether you think you benefited or not from that claim, it’s the fact that you tried to benefit from that claim that I think bothers a lot of people and it’s something you haven’t been able to put to rest since the 2012 campaign,” when she first mentioned having Native American heritage that led President Donald Trump to start mocking her by calling her “Pocahontas.”

He added, “I don’t care what percentage she claims to be Native American; I just care that I’m 100 percent for Massachusetts and will be working for the people of this state.” …

Elizabeth Warren contributed five recipes to the Native American-themed cookbook and claimed they were handed down from generation to generation in her “Cherokee” family. But radio talk show host Howie Carr has released damning evidence that appears to confirm that Senator Warren’s recipes were simply copied from a famous French chef’s recipes online.

It appears that at least three of the five recipes featured in the book were fakes, according to an investigation by Mr Carr.
The two recipes for Crab with Tomato Mayonnaise Dressing and Cold Omelets with Crab Meat appear to be word for word copies of a French chef's design.

A third recipe for Herbed Tomatoes appears to be lifted directly from a recipe in a 1959 Better Homes and Gardens magazine, down to Mrs Warren's instructions for how to enjoy the dish.

In 1996, school paper the Harvard Crimson quoted a Harvard Law spokesperson saying that 'of 71 current Law School professors and assistant professors, 11 are women, five are black, one is Native American and one is Hispanic.'

But just last week, Breitbart.com claimed Mrs Warren's ancestor Jonathan Crawford was a member of the Tennessee Militia who rounded up Cherokees from their family homes as part of the Trail of Tears - a stark contrast to Mrs Warren's claims.

What’s funny is that most white Americans from European descent have more Native American blood in them than Warren has...
