**GILLUM FACTS** TEN REASONS WHY ANDREW GILLUM IS TOO RADICAL, TOO CORRUPT FOR FLORIDA

TAMPA, FL- At tonight’s Florida Gubernatorial Debate hosted by CNN, Andrew Gillum tried to downplay his radical agenda and failed record as mayor of Tallahassee. The Republican Party of Florida has compiled ten reasons why Andrew Gillum is too radical and too corrupt to lead our state.

10 REASONS ANDREW GILLUM IS TOO RADICAL, TOO CORRUPT FOR FLORIDA

1. Saw Tallahassee’s Average Murder Rate Increase by 52% on his watch from 2010-2017. Gillum says he has provided exemplary leadership as a mayor, but in reality more people have been murdered under Gillum’s watch as Tallahassee’s average murder rate has increased 52 percent from 2010 to 2017. Gillum served as a city commissioner from 2003 to 2014 and was elected mayor in 2014.

2. Said NO to More Police in Tallahassee but Yes to $2 Million in Tax Dollars for His Friend’s Restaurant. Gillum says he will protect the state’s most vulnerable, but when it came to protecting his own residents he repeatedly denied law enforcement requests for additional police officers in Tallahassee but approved $2 million in taxpayer funding for a restaurant now at the center of an ongoing FBI investigation.

3. Closely Linked to an Ongoing FBI Investigation AND Vacationed With Undercover FBI Agents and Lobbyists in NYC and Costa Rica. Gillum says he is transparent and open, but in reality he refuses to come clean about a suspicious $15,000 deposit in his bank account and who paid for the luxury trip to Costa Rica he took with undercover FBI agents in 2016.

4. Wants to Raise Taxes by Over $1 Billion. Gillum says he wants to provide hope for those who are left out, but in reality he wants to raise taxes by $1 Billion on hardworking Florida families so that he can pay for his radical agenda.

DeSantis has finally got some powerful ads running here in Florida.

The GOP has been sitting on its hands until now. The debate this weekend exposed Gillum face to face with the voters. He’s a socialist. He can’t hide it anymore.

Trump needs to come back and hit it one more time....

I agree .

Gillum went after Trump and it was in a hateful way.
He dropped his phony nice guy mask .

Its time for Trump to visit.

I think two visits be nice .
One in Central Fl and one in
Pensacola.

21 Oct: Miami Herald: DeSantis rips CNN for releasing ‘misleading poll’ ahead of first debate with
Gillum
By David Smiley
“Simply put, this CNN survey is not worth the paper it is written on because the sample and weights do not reflect a Florida election,” said Lawson. “That CNN takes this poll seriously enough to blast it out to their viewers right before a debate on their network is why so many Americans believe that CNN peddles fake news.”

DeSantis’ campaign criticized the methodology of the poll, which was based off of answers from 1,012 adults who were asked how they identify their politics as opposed to their actual registration (a strategy used by some pollsters). The resulting breakdown was 32 percent Democrat, 29 percent Republican and 39 percent Independent – figures that are out-of-whack with historical midterm election turnouts for Florida.
“This poll is as amusing as it is suspicious in that it was released hours before a debate between the two candidates – clearly meant to give the advantage to Andrew Gillum,” Lawson said...

DeSantis has waited far too long to get noticed, much less to get his message out and to refute Gillum’s garbage.

What are you talking about? DeSantis obliterated his competition in the primaries and received more votes than all of the Democrats combined. How has he waited too long to be noticed?!

So a question for any Floridian: how will the hurricane damage in the panhandle affect the outcome?
De Santos pretty much has to carry that area heavily, no?
Aren’t a lot of residents still evacuated?
Or is this a non factor.

Everyone in politics has known for months that soros & steyer were funding DeSantis’s hard left opposition - Gillum. They should have combatted that and poured major dough into this campaign ASAP. They should be assuring Ron’s success.

Local candidates can not match massive infusions of carpetbagger money. Plus, Expecting the cheat/ voter fraud issue to be huge for Gillum.

Yes, DeSantis did very well in the primary.

Then DeSantis fell off the radar until the past few weeks while Gillum kept his name front and center. Instead of DeSantis pointing out his own attributes which will make him a great governor and countering Gillums claims and promoting Gillum's shady character, DeSantis was mostly silent until the past couple of weeks.

DeSantis has missed too many opportunities to shine, outside of Trump's shadow. Worst campaign in memory. And yes, I voted for DeSantis in the primary.

Outside of Mexico Beach the citizens are back . The temps dropped too .

I disagree. DeSantis is playing to his military pedigree and holding fire until it matters. Gillum is being funded by powerful lobbies backed by Soros money. There’s no point in trying to go toe-to-toe with the enemy when they out-raise AND out-spend you. Let them deplete their cash reserves and pummel them when it matters.

Despite what many might think, Floridians are not all dumb hicks. We know a terrible governor when we see one. (Disclaimer: we disavow any responsibility for Charlie Crist.)

Where are DeSantis yard signs? Every day I pass dedicated GOP yards full of signs for various candidates. No signs for DeSantis.

Independents didn't vote in the primary election. DeSantis has not been visible to independents for months.

You are assuming that only GOP votes matter for this election, and that everyone shares your knowledge about DeSantis' military pedigree and other attributes not generally known outside of political diehard circles.

You assume too much.

Most of us don’t want the yard signs. Are you paying attention? Dems are unhinged. I don’t want my house egged or spray painted or worse, burglarized.

Another simply novice idea. btw--your snarky comments do not make you a better ambassador for persuasive GOTV, or how to win friends and influence people.

Some of us actually live in civil neighborhoods.

Here, in one of the Congressional District (Sarasota to South Hillsborough County) the Dem candidate issue against Congressman Vern Buchanan is that the day Trump signed the tax cuts, Vern bought a 5 million dollar yacht with money from a foreign bank (the two biggest boat financing firms are owned by BNP and UBS, which brought the two biggest boat loan companies). I guess I should NOT vote for Vern because he is rich...big f deal...

My comments were taken out of context. The questions were genuine and not rhetorical. This is a dogfight, Nurse. We’ve attempted civility for decades, and where has it taken us?

I live sufficiently far off the beaten path that I don’t worry about random kids messing with my property, but that also puts me in an area where yard signs aren’t going to change any minds. I know all of my neighbors, and they’re ardently supporting deSantis. They know what is at stake.

I read a statistic recently that showed that most people aren’t swayed by advertisements or yard signs. They serve more to say, “Here’s who I support. Be like me.” Americans don’t and shouldn’t have to answer to anyone but the Lord above. I shouldn’t have to show my support for any candidate or issue. I make sure people understand that voting is their right and they should exercise it, but I’m not going to preach or proselytize. People get enough thrown in their face.
