Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, has come under fire after it was revealed that it expelled a male student for sexual assault even though his accuser allegedly admitted to sexually assaulting him as well.
Drake University is now facing a court battle over their investigation into an alleged incident in which Thomas Rossley Jr. and an unnamed female both accused each other of sexual assault. According to a report from The College Fix, the unnamed female admitted to performing oral sex on Rossley Jr. without his consent. Despite this, Drake University never investigated that portion of the incident. He was ultimately expelled from the university.
Rossley Jr., who has ADHD, dyslexia, and “word-retrieval issues,” requested assistance at the hearing that took place after the investigation. However, Rossley Jr. was not provided with assistance and made to fend for himself during a nine-hour hearing.
Rossley Jr.’s father, Tom, was fired from his position on the Drake University Board of Trustees after he argued that his son was being treated unfairly. Rossley Sr. then sued, alleging “Title IX retaliation.” A judge threw out the lawsuit over the summer, arguing that Rossley’s position on the board was not covered under Title IX.

60 MINUTES is going to present a Special explaining the techniques required to perform such attacks for those inclined to learn the required subtleties of the act.
Include all those making this dimwitted decision as defendants in the civil suit.
I went to Drake from ‘67-’71, and it was just beginning to go liberal, from a staunchly Conservative University. Too bad it’s a shithole, now.
Not prosecuting unwanted blowjobs is all part of the war on boys.
It sounds as if he did not have the opportunity to adequately defend himself. I’m a woman, but I have sons, and I’d have been as irate as his dad was at the treatment.
I’m not saying he’s totally innocent and the woman is totally guilty. I’m saying that they were NOT treated equally, and they should have been. I understand that this might not have been a court of law, but shouldn’t “due process” apply here as well?
If both misbehaved, then either kick both out or not, but one should not have been named if the other wasn’t, and both should have been given the same opportunity to defend themselves.
The school then made things worse by firing the father. I hope the backlash is painful.
And as for those saying that a woman can’t perform a sex act on a man without his consent, don’t be silly. Of course she can- particularly that act. His lack of enthusiasm doesn’t mean she can’t try. Even if he’s an enthusiastic participant- because (for whatever reason) he thinks she’s someone else- it’s still nonconsensual.
The story doesn’t provide enough details to draw a solid inference, but my guess would be a drunken hookup with enthusiastic participation by both parties. Second thoughts then set in, hours (or days, weeks or months?) later. She filed a complaint based on the assertion that she was too intoxicated to give consent. He counter-filed in self-defense, with the same rationale. There could be many variations on this pattern, but that would be the now-standard scenario. The big loose end is that the boy’s dad was on the Board of Trustees. One would think that would have bought him, at least, reasonable due process, so I would not be surprised if there is some aggravating circumstance involved.

"the unnamed female admitted to performing oral sex on Rossley Jr. without his consent" ----- Speaking for myself, and I am a 71 year old guy (married to the same girl for 45 years) with a very fine assortment of "attention" from the women I dated and cared for before my marriage ..... I can say that I never ever chose to "not consent" to a hummer.
However, if the technique was going along without suitable ability on the part of the ardent young lady, I'd suggest a a change or two in her technique to make it more pleasurable....... for both of us.

My wife and I were driving to the store this morning and this thread came up. She seemingly had a reasonable theory of what may have happened.
She theorized that the guy was getting a hummer quite willingly, THEN he wanted to go further. ............ perhaps forcing intercourse with the young lady.
What do you think??
I like your wife’s theory, he got a little carried away. Then they wound up in an argument & acused each other of assault.
