House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) declared yesterday that “Democrats are for securing our borders”--in the context of making an argument for why Americans should support her in opposing one of President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.

This has to be satire. They must be looking at their own internal polling and just panicking.
She has no core and will flip flop. This “flip flop” should be put in her face again and again until the public sees her as a flip flopping politician that can not be trusted.
I hope Trump uses it to attack her and her not backing funding the wall or his DACA proposals. Trump could make a lot of political hay out of this by putting it in her face until she blows her reaction.

I moved TO So Calif in Feb 1964. I moved OUT of So Calif in May of 1993.
I spent 29 years there.
Nancy Pelosi has absolutely NO idea how bad it was there THEn-—and that is OVER 25 years go.
I moved because I no longer felt safe. I was being accosted for ‘day labor’ every time I went to Home Depot. ( I will never go to another Home Depot because they put up ‘shelters’ for the illegals in their parking lots).
I had prowlers on my property at night. Dog woke me up to alert me. I racked my pump shotgun & the flying footsteps told me I wasn’t crazy-—there WAS a prowler.
I had another prowler ON MY ROOF, peeping into the high window which rose to the roof. Picked up the shotgun, and he scrambled off. Police responded quickly, but not enough.
I got surrounded at a stoplight less than a mile from my house by 7 illegals chattering in Spanish & looking for ‘day work’. It was over 100 outside, my doors & windows were locked in my 1972 Honda car, which had NO air conditioning. There actually ere enough of them to PICK UP ME & the car & walk away with me.
I started to take my dog with me to my bookkeeping clients, which kept them away at stoplights, but that also left my house unguarded.
I finally had enough. I packed up & moved. I won’t go back.
Now would be a great time to bring up a standalone wall funding bill and make her prove it.
Weasel words, or lack of them. Securing the border wide open by pulling back the border patrol funding.
