Mexico Beach is the antithesis of most of thr Florida gulf coast with smaller houses, townhouses, etc. A friend had an interesting and very realistic theory. Developers will come in and buty the ruins and in a few years it will be wall to wall high rise condos. I think he’s right.
It is called the “Forgotten Coast” for a reason.
