Brett Adair AKA bamastormchaser started out in Port St. Joe
and drove from there to Mexico Beach.

By the time they got there they were “in over their heads”
(figuratively if not literally).

Someone has posted the full video on his facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/bamastormchaser
(it is 45 minutes long)

They arrive in MB when the counter on the right says -17:50
They begin to realize they are in trouble at -15:00
They decide to abandon the vehicle at about -10:30

They left the dash-cam running in the vehicle and
it continued to run for another 10 minutes
while the vehicle is pounded by the surge.

I hope the video will be posted on YouTube because I’m one of those who won’t go to Facebook at all. I’d like to see it and will check for it later. Have a hungry herd of cats and a hubby that need to be fed now.

It makes my hair stand on end to think about what they and everyone else who was there went through as the storm roared through. Videos I’ve seen have been mind-boggling.

The winds are still very strong and I’m fretting over friends in southern GA. Hubby heard from them a little earlier and they said the wind was blowing rain in one door and out the other. :-(
