Very weird dynamic happening here. We experienced a strong flow of storms that went almost due north through Texas. Coming up from Mexico. Very strong rains. This pattern has been increasing lately. Almost straight north flows. That dynamic mostly forced the cane due north too. There was a north and south line of heavy rain storms going from Houston to Des Moines as outer bands of this cane was just approaching the coast.
