True enough it will be an economic war but it will be waged with natural resources and food. The bastions of the socialists have neither. How long would the major metropolitan areas of the east and west coast survive without electricity, natural gas and food, all of which are imported from other areas of the country and mostly from red states.
If this country has another civil war, it wont be a state against state affair, at least not initially. Tiwari hints at the real division when he says “California wants to split into three states”.
The division in this country is more neighbor against neighbor and neighborhood against neighborhood.
There are deep divisions within states: Upstate NY against NYC, all of Illinois vs. Chicago, urban vs. rural, etc. The divisions are better described as Left vs. Right, & most states are substantially divided in this respect.
The coming civil war wont become state vs. state until there is a mass migration of Americans, gathering together for mutual protection in new homelands. This migration may never happen. People don’t like to be forced to move & abandon their property. Many will fight in place rather than move. Many more wont move because it is too late, too dangerous.
Civil war will be bloody & disorganized, there wont be uniformed armies fighting each other as in the Civil War. Gang warfare or guerrilla war would better describe the coming conflict. Government will have collapsed.
