I watched the press conference. Its amazing how Trump won Haley over by seeing, nurturing and deploying her talents, garnering her a much higher stage in life on which to operate. He is a coach extraordinaire.I was so turned of off his marriage dramas in the 90s, but watching The Apprentice for ten years showed me what a great leader he is, how he demands and gets respect and helps people focus their skills and talents on the important stuff. At the end of my long and challenging career as a trailblazer for women in publishing, I sat there watching him and wishing I had evereverhad a boss like that.
I think Thomas Jefferson once remarked how important it is to go with peoples strengths and not get embroiled in the small stuff. That is top-level executive leadership.
Christians are taught to recognize that no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. Whats important is accountability for those things and continuting onward to use the gifts and talents we are given. It makes reconciliation possible. Haley was a right bitch to Trump during the early days of the campaign. Now look. He won her heart, which she kept laying her hand upon during her several thank-yous to him at the press conference.

Agreed. It's been an astonishing transformation by Haley. Today's event with Trump and Haley in the WH was incredible to watch. Both seemed genuinely sincere in their affection for each other.
However... I'm still wondering why she's resigning, and why -- immediately after the Kavanaugh event, and a mere 28 days before the mid-terms -- Trump and Haley chose *today* to make this resignation announcement...?
