= the reason I said 3 out of 4. The electoral vote in the Portland distict isn’t winnable. The 2 statewide are.

Thanks for pointing that out.

The Cong 2nd covers 90% of Maine. Avoid Augusta and Portland, do business with the rest

I spend six days last summer hiking in Maine. Gorgeous mountain scenery and challenging hiking. Much different than the hiking I do in the southern Appalachians. The last night we were there, we enjoyed a staple of Maine-lobster and blueberry pie.

Especially enjoyed driving through the old villages and towns. The church was usually a central feature in the town. A couple of quirks I found interesting-on some older homes, barns were attached to the home. And, my favorite, McDonalds serves lobster rolls. Interesting place.

1) Tourist Season in Maine is pretty much over, and Ski Season isn't for a month or more, long after SJW's are on to their next quixotic cause.

2) Mainers would probably just as soon folks from away stayed out, anyway.

Crazy. Maine is gorgeous, the lobsters sublime, and of course LL Bean is a terrific store.

Let’s all buy something. Christmas is coming, catalog sales are so useful for far-away relatives.

If you hit the LL Bean outlet - it's down the hill from their flagship store - you can do extremely well. Runs about a season or so behind, but unless you're the kind of person who needs the latest fashions (I'm not) you save some serious money.

Picked up a nice weatherproof shell there last time. Around $100 normally, I got it for $15. I use it as a raincoat.

The outlet, however, is not open 24/7/365. Just regular business hours, unfortunately. :-)

The effect of this boycott on Maine will resemble a pimple on an elephant’s ass.

Ha ha! I have been boycotting Point Sebago resort ever since my wife and kids, and 75% of the guest became sick overnight. They blamed it on one kid in a dirty diaper playing in the lake
like that does not happen everyday. The owners were down right rude to the guest.

Maine is made up of liberals. At least in the cities like Portland, Bar Harbor, Kittery and Kennebunkport. I guess they’ll boycott themselves.

My daughter lives in Maine. I just got back from a 5 day visit. It was packed with leaf peepers. Liberals are unable to boycott anything effectively as most are tattooed gamers who don’t work.

For a similar reason, i.e., a female Senator, I think we should boycott all products and tourism having to do with Alaska dollars.

This door swings both ways, Baby.

Please, liberals, boycott everything Maine. And if you live here, move away. Connecticut and California are nice this time of year. We’ve way too many carpet bagging (Senator Angus King), tax raising, pro-abortion, anti-constitution, pro-illegal aliens, pro-asylum fools moving here from numerous liberal bastions, and screwing everything up for law-abiding, Jesus loving, tax paying, go-to-work-every day citizens. Boycott Maine. Never clog our highways. And move away if you are already here. The sooner the better.

To: I want the USA back

I once knew a lady who grew up in a remote town in northern Maine. She said more people actually spoke French than English, and they did most of their shopping in Canada.
