Auto-Tune: the bane of authenticity. (Why did I bother to learn how to sing?)
While she was never a favorite of mine, I now have greater respect for Pat Benatar: real voice and real talent.
Does a guitarist just play any old note, and then let Auto-Tune pitch-correct it?
Does Auto-tune work for shower singing...asking for a friend hoping for a new career & $$$.
I have no trouble noticing even a bit of Autotune. I would rather listen to death metal or black metal than anything with Autotune.
