Andrew Gillum makes appeal to Jewish voters, and Jewish leaders vouch for him

“Folks who would spread mischaracterizations about who I am don’t know that I’ve been to Israel three times,” he said, proclaiming that “I don’t have to stand up and defend my credentials and my relationship with the Jewish community any more than Michael Bloomberg would need to do up here, except for, maybe, our last names.”

Bloomberg, the former mayor of New York and a prominent Jewish leader, had just delivered a speech supporting Gillum’s candidacy. “It seems to me this is a very easy choice for the voters of Florida,” he said.

Bloomberg, the billionaire founder of a financial information company, just donated $250,000 to Gillum’s campaign.

U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Weston, said she’s known Gillum for years and vouched for him. Wasserman Schultz, the first Jewish woman elected to the House from Florida, is a former chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. Sunday’s event, at a synagogue at the Century Village condominium community in Pembroke Pines, was in Wasserman Schultz’s district.

The older liberal generation of New York Jews who moved to Florida have ruined it for us sane Jews (and my relatives, hopefully sane one, have lived all over Florida, were people who fled from the Russian pogroms of the 1890’s and 1900’s).

Gillum is an enemy of Jews (unless they give him money) and a friend of the Palestinians. Have no doubt about it. By being a so-called “progressive”, he is by association a Marxist, anti-Zionist (aka anti-Israel) movement supporter, as are many of his Florida supporters in the younger generations.

While Jacob had a multi-colored coat, Gillum has a coat of only one color, RED.

As a Jew whose European family was wiped out by the Holocaust, I want to sing a song to all of my fellow Jewish Democrat brethren in Florida. It is entitled “We won’t get fooled again”.

Don’t be fooled by flowery words and nice promises. Hitler and Stalin did that too and you know how that worked out for us.
