The fact that she was the one to disappoint the loser democrats makes her very, very special in my book. Haha. They were counting on her.
Did you listen to her speech? I was thinking the same thing...WTF Kavanaugh is not someone I would support if what she said was true.
But having said that if that’s what it takes to get her vote so be it. I hope he’s not who she thinks he is though or we have another breyer on our hands.

I love you Sudan collins
Well played Ms Collins.
Rush Limbaugh touched on this yesterday. Senators aren't just finding themselves the recipients of angry phone calls. Quite literally, they are being physically threatened. Themselves, their children, their grandchildren.
People need to start going to jail or it's only going to get worse.
Back in the 'old days' when some of us used the 'long drop' in the backyard for our 'necessary business', there was often an old Sears & Roebuck catalog for the 'paperwork' after your business was complete. If the pages ran out before a new catalog arrived, some folks had to resort to using dried corncobs (after the corn had been shelled).
If someone were in a ornery mood, the inevitable comment directed their way was, "Corncobs, huh?" If they were exceptionally nasty, a comment was made to others, "Sounds like he has a corncob stuck .. ... ..."
Ask Steve Scalise. I fear for the safety of Kavanaugh and his family. The Dem rhetoric has gone beyond normal bounds and it could trigger some nut to take matters into his/her own hands. Frightening stuff.
Don’t waste time and worry by projecting...Roberts changed a word/concept to save a law...Kavanaugh seems to be willing to save a generally good/Constitutional law by excising the unconstitutional part...He’s no John Roberts until he proves otherwise - I doubt he will pull a Roberts and buckle under pressure because the pressure put on Roberts was immense and he caved. Roberts would have withdrawn and Bush would have agreed.
Can you stop being an a#%*¥le just once, ML? No, I count on Collins for no conservative votes, ever, but when you get a big honkin' gift like this, just say "thank you" and move on, mmm'kay? Her speech was magnificent and better than anything you could have come up with (is that why you feel the need to demean it?). I was a loyal follower of you until Feb 2016 when in the first week of your crappy tv show you trashed Trump and endorsed Cruz - who had NO realistic shot at winning a general election. Will you please refund me the hundreds of dollars I spent buying your and your daddy's crappy books? Oh wait, I already threw them away. FU ML.
Lol. I could probably out curmudgeon him on a corncob day given the right issue. I just think this is one of times that a little courtesy be shown. Many here feared she might wobbly. She did exactly the opposite, despite massive unhinged pressure. A simple thank you from Mark, and any pleased with the result, would have been the decent thing to do. We are not the left.
Apparently, Democrat Susan Rice of Benghazi fame may be challenging Susan Collins when Collins is up for re-election.

Since Susan Collins has indicated that her vote will be for Kavanaugh, Mitch McConnell has assured Collins that her campaign will be well-funded when she is ready to run.
I have no problem with a “big tent”, in a two-party system it’s difficult to avoid.
As long as everyone in the GOP is clear that the other side is the enemy, and fights like it.
She’s no different than all the other Republicans who’s voting for Kav. Any one of them could have been the swing vote.
She’s merely the one that took the longest time to reach the correct conclusion.
Like the father of prodigal son, we are extremely glad she finally made the right decision. But she is no more a hero than the rest of the yes votes.
Why not treat Susan Collins like a hero?
She’s a hero because she was captured by the left. I like people who weren’t captured I hate to tell you. She has done a lot of bad things. Does one good thing and OMG! She’s a hero!
Right. She’s doing everything that everyone else already said they were doing aside from her sidekick. That’s not being a hero.
Now if she comes out and also does a speech like this in favor of the wall, then maybe I’ll call her a hero.
LOL!!! When things didn’t go right for my Dad I can remember him saying “that’s as rough as a cob.”
Susan Collins speech was eloquent and moving and seemingly brave. It was not!
Susan Collins is a political opportunist that has sat on the political fence between left and right for her personal political gains for years. She knew exactly with precision that Bert Kavanaugh was a good man and honest jurist. However, she never publicly supported him not condemned him for months despite knowing he was a good and honest man.
Collins is not to be admired despite her vote.
She’s the only one nationally televised—so that the resisdunces had to watch and listen too—who went down the cross-examination list to point out (most) every instance of fraud and deception.
She is a hero simply for that, and also for the threats, slander and abuse she will take into this election cycle, and far beyond if she is lucky enough to win.
What has Mark Levin ever put on the line?
