I’m not sure it’s his call, but I guess if he asked the DOJ to stand down they probably would.
Personally I don’t think people who try to sabotage our constitutional processes in this way should get off Scot free.

Right. Laura told him Lindsey Graham was going to pursue this issue — have the perjurers prosecuted or something. McConnell quickly nixed that idea. (So he had a burst of testosterone — and then he lost caved. The little blue pill must have a very short period of effectiveness.) It’s not fair to the country to let evil people try to destroy America by breaking the law many times over, and then do nothing to them.
This should be the DOJ’s decision...NOT McConnell!

Not before the confirmation vote, anyway.
Afterwards, “new” information will be “discovered” to justify pursuing it. Letting these people go without consequence is not going to fly.
