Manchin will vote however Collins does. If Collins is a yes, Manchin will not be the swing vote and his Dem colleagues will understand him voting yes to save his seat.
If he is the deciding vote, Manchin will follow the party line.
Manchin has said he will not be a “yes” vote if it’s the one vote that confirms Kavanaugh so we’ll see how the numbers play out.
But then that makes Joe Mansion the sole decider of whether or not Kavanaugh gets on the SC. Don’t think for a minute the rats won’t threaten his life if he puts Kavanaugh on the court!
The only thing I’m holding onto is MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, Collins is making her announcement of YES so that everyone will leave her alone.... It’s a stretch but that’s the only reason I can think of for her to make the announcement - unless she just wants to ruin this good man and his family.

I would not put it past them. Mitch and Grassley gave them everything they wanted including the FBI report.
I think in the end they will suspend the house and senate so that Trump can place him as a recess appointment.
They are planning election-fraud funny business and can’t afford him on the court.
Trump don’t play that.
I honestly think manchin has been a yes all along.
I dont think he’s happy with the way things have gone down.
