If she's smart she'll hire a good attorney and sue starbucks for failing to provide adequate security for their employees.

The official Starbucks policy as far as customer carry is to simply follow whatever the law allows. If your state allows concealed carry, you can concealed carry in Starbucks. If it allows open carry, you can do the same. I know I've done both at my local Starbucks.

OTOH, I'm pretty sure they don't allow employees to carry, and as such, she should sue the crap out of them for purposefully disarming her, and then not providing security.
