The difference between the Clarence Thomas hearings and the Brett Kavanaugh hearings is that the Dems had no second or third accusers with Thomas. They lost that one, and probably realized with Kavanaugh, that in order to get him to withdraw, or destroy his nomination, they would need more than one accuser. Strength in numbers. Then when the realized the extra bimbos wasn’t working, they went down another road: drinking, blackouts, passing out...etc.
Then when they see that isn't working either, they go down the road of he doesn't have the "temperament" to be on the Supreme Court because he was mean and disrespectful to the Dem senators! Curious considering he's currently serving as a judge on the second highest court in the land. I cannot imagine what their tactics might be when this proves to be baseless, too.
