A recent poll found that 60 percent of Americans want nominee Brett Kavanaugh confirmed to the United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS) if the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) dismisses the sexual misconduct allegations waged against him.
According to a weekend poll conducted by CAPS/Harris on 1,330 registered voters over the weekend, a good majority of Americans have confidence in the FBI that it will get to the bottom of the accusations made by three women against the beleaguered SCOTUS nominee, while most Republicans think he should be confirmed without the FBI’s input.
“If the FBI finds no corroboration of the charges, 60 percent believe that Kavanaugh should then be confirmed,” The Hill reported from the CAPS/Harris poll. “GOP voters were ready for a vote now, and overwhelmingly back the confirmation without further delay.

The FBI is going to submit their findings to the Senate. McConnell is promising to keep them private, which will last about 5 minutes. Someone needs to characterize the results, else these leaks and wild Democratic claims and media will define them. Will McConnell and Grassley be ready and willing to do this?

The FBI will simply interview people and write down what they said. They won’t be drawing any conclusions or making recommendations.
FBI hasn’t alleged or charged anything.

Which polls? I saw about 3 days ago “42% believe Kav guilty of something and 31% believe innocent. (I guess they forgot innocent until proven guilty-—oh, forgot, men don’t have any such rights.)
Then Frank Luntz poll 55% to 37% women say against Kav to be confirmed and 49% to 40 of men say for Kav to be confirmed.
Last week Rush angrily said believe me if there is not a huge ,huge backlash against this false accusation then, then....” Didn’t make the rest of the threat such as: Americans are now garbage?

Honestly, how can any of us here just say we love the American people if a majority (maybe mostly women tipping the balance) say it is somehow ok to take an innocent, decent judge and take away his rightful reputation and presidential & congressional judicial confirmation based on lies by mentally ill, confused, man hating ditzy women who “must” be believed due to sexism of women. And the View,CNN, and Joe & Mika say destroy the man.
