Buckeye McFrog, going to disagree with you on this one. If we fail to get Judge Kavanaugh confirmed it is a definite loss. The Democrats and aiding RINOs will always seek to cut the goal in half. If Republicans accept just a vote as a Win this time around, trust me, it will be so much worse the next time around. Never, ever, give Democrats and RINOs anything. It’s a true sticking point.

Let’s face it. The next SCOTUS nomination is going to be

HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE!

That will be true regardless of what happens to Judge K in this case. That is virtually assured since the GOP caved on the Biden Principle and brought the FBI back in to investigate. All future nominees will now face endless rounds of delays as the FBI investigates last-minute spurious charges.

On the other hand look at the upsides of a vote. If it’s yea we get a solid Conservative on the court. One with the added benefit of having a case of red arse about the Left that is likely to linger for decades.

If it’s a no Collins and Murkowski have ended their careers. Two vexsome RINOS GONE! Manchin, Heitkamp and who knows how many other Red State Democrats GONE as they self-immolate by casting no votes.

If Kavanaugh is confirmed and Red Staters like Manchin choose to vote yea it will touch off an even more bitter civil war within the Democrat Party.

All of which leads to a bigger Conservative Senate where Trump can nominate anyone he chooses. Even Kavanaugh for a second time.

I don’t see any real downside for us here.
