My husband and I traveled through Johnson City, TN a few years ago. We remember it as a fairly small town (population 63,000). Why would President Trump and Marsha Blackburn hold their rally there? (Just curious)
Also the polls have Blackburn and Bredesen either tied or Bredesen is ahead (!). How can that be?? I hope TN isn't starting to lean to the left... :-(
Johnson City is strategically located to pull supporters from east and middle Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia and Kentucky.

He followed an unpopular governor who tried to ram an income tax down our throats
Marsha has to campaign and get her ads on tv
Trump can get her over the finish line
He carried the state by 26 points
And that means he did that in a state that is 18 percent black...which translates to around 82 percent of the white vote
