I’m focusing on states with no income tax. As well, Pennsylvania is out of the running. I have relatives from the Philly to Pittsburgh regions. The ones in Philly are leftist scum, but the folks to the west, although more conservative, are died-in-the-wool labor unionists. And east or west, the attitudes of my Pennsylvania relatives have always struck me as defeatist.
I’ll probably wind up in Sarasota, living near my brother and his kids & grandkids.
Luckily, my region isn’t pro-union. Too many Germanics and Anabaptist influenced. I do understand the taxes issue, though.
