Christine Ford is clearly an emotionally unstable and fragile woman who is being manipulated by her skilled Democratic operative handlers. Something happened in her life and now she is being taken advantage by liberal activists who do not have her best interests at heart.
I think our side correctly deduced that bringing that hammer down on her would not play out very well. We'd look bad. And it worked. It gave Judge Kavanaugh the opportunity to paint her as a victim of this circus as much as he is and ultimately allowed him to seize the narrative.

There’s also another possibility. If she’s as ditzy as some here believe she might inadvertently spill the beans about being coached and groomed for this operation. How crazy is it to consider she might be “offed” before she testifies That could give the dems an opportunity to claim she committed suicide and then that she was “driven” to do so by those bad republicans.

Anyway, I hope she has a bunch of good “insurance” squirrelled away in a safe place.
