This president has survived three years of the most intense political and personal attacks any public figure has been subjected to in the history of this nation. This was a not good day for our country and I don’t think it was a good move on the part of the president to support another investigation of Kavanaugh.
That said, I’m not gonna join the growing chorus of gloom and doomers on this board thinking it’s over and the president made a fatal mistake. Maybe he did. Maybe not. I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt that he’s acting behind the scenes and he has a surprise waiting for all of them. Let this all play out. In this fight against the Deep State there will be lost battles, but one lost battle doesn’t mean the war is lost!
Everybody is making assumptions.
We know nothing right now. Only Flake, Murkowski and Collins know what is going to happen.
