You just said they don’t have the votes right now.

They have the votes, something bigger is in play here... something you and I as outside observers aren’t privy to.
I fully expect 52-55 votes to confirm, but that doesn’t mean stupid actions can’t change that.
I doubt completely that Collins or Murkowski are “on the fence” something else is going on... something behind closed doors... witholding a vote, is not the same as not “having” the vote.
There is a lot of back scratching that is going to go on, and none of it is going to be pretty... that doesn’t mean the votes aren’t there.
