I just called over the the National Republican Senatorial Committee. This is one of the groups that constantly pesters me for donations via phone, e-mail, and mail, a group that I have given sums of money to in the past, and I wanted to vent.

It's not like they don't call me every couple of days, especially this time of year. In fact if you have ever given money to Republican political causes you will be aware that your phone will be ringing off the hook all hours of the day an night from groups such as the NRSC for contributions. And the person that picked up the phone hung up on me when I asked "Where is the money you pester me for all hours of the day and night going?"

I encourage anyone who has ever donated to the NRSC to call 202-675-6000 and give them a piece of your mind.

That worked for being able to leave a message with the front desk, alas still no human contact with my government.
