If the FBI investigates, can’t witnesses just tell the FBI to pound states?
In other words, FBI cannot subpoena. All they can do it take statements from willing witnesses, correct?
If so, Smyth, Judge, etc. are likely to tell the FBI to pound sand.

He'll have been "investigated enough" when he throws in the towel and says, "Screw this, I want to live what's left of my life in peace with my family. I don't need this crap. You people have done enough damage. You win. I fold. Enjoy your Pyrrhic victory."
This isn't about "investigating" him. It's about delaying even longer, so that they can roll out even more bogus accusations. They've undoubtedly got a room full of "victims" waiting in the wings -- or else they wouldn't be doing this.
