There should be no FBI investigation. It would set a terrible precedent regarding the misuse of federal powers and the presumption of innocence owed to any person. In this case it would also make a mockery of why we have statutes of limitations for certain offenses.
The Democrats believe strongly in weaponizing federal agencies to advance their ideologies. They should be careful. Such a philosophy will turn around and bite them in the ass.
Flake sounded like a guy who had been threatened.
What matters is that the nomination goes to the full Senate. Flakes treachery binds nobody, much less the full Senate.

Grassley called his bluff. McConnell needs to caucus and if he has the numbers carry out the vote on the floor. The FBI investigation will only allow the democrats more time to drag out four hundred more lying women and the FBI investigation will not change one vote on the Democrat side.
