The members have time to make statements before a vote. The vote was for a time certain to stop any opportunity by Democrats to filibuster in the committee to delay the vote. Grassley has to give members “adequare time” but he also has to get the vote done today.
QUESTION: Please someone get this out. One of Kavanaugh’s friends said Ford did not run with their group. They did not know her. If so, how did Ford know the names of Kavanaugh, Judge, and TJ? Who gave her these names?
