Sen Graham is a full-bird Colonel in the USAF JAG Reserve. I once worked with a Major who had been stationed with him back in ‘89 or so. Even then, my friend told me, you could see that he was “a player”. I am glad to hear that he, at least, with his prosecutorial background, is holding firm here. Its entirely possible that - given McCain’s aura - Graham followed his lead in the Senate, and that indeed he is now “freed” in a psychological sense to imprint upon another “big dog” (POTUSDJT).
Or maybe its just wishful thinking and he will go wobbly tomorrow. But I think that he is dead-on evaluating what will happen to the GOP in November if they fail to confirm Kavanaugh.
Would normally not at all be comfortable with having Weasel Jr. as our champion. But this time... well, he just might mean it.
I think McCain had something on him from one of their middle east trips.
