While I appreciate all the comments from the arm-chair lawyers, very few of the comments come from Freepers who have actually tried a case, cross-examined a witness, or even witnessed a real trial. I often tell jurors during the selection process and opening statement, that "real trials are not like what they may have seen on TV, Perry Mason moments are rare, and the some of the evidence that you will hear may not make sense until after all the evidence is in and the lawyers are summing up their case during closing arguments. Let's hope that Mitchell's closing arguments show all the lies and inconsistencies.

Hopefully Mark Judge can call in with some employment dates, because Kavanaugh was in Football and Basketball camp for weeks as well as weekend retreats. The Dems will all faint and Mitchell won’t have to even make closing arguments. So far the most damaging thing Ford has offered is expressing disappointment that Judge didn’t return her cheery greeting a few weeks after the alleged attack she claimed Judge encouraged and participated in. Makes zero sense. And then there’s abandoning her bestie at the party where she believed dangerous men were. No woman on earth believes that. No girl is going to abandon her bestie to potential rapists.
