Exactly. They used her and she knows it. She had never heard of the counseling that Mitchell mentioned. Mitchell on the otherhand came off as caring about Fords health. This seems to be the direction the entire day will go. Ford had something happen to her and the democrats instead of getting help for her took advantage of her. Rats are bad.
I loved how Mitchell hooked that bitch Harris on the recommended type of questioning!
That was perhaps the closest to checkmate I saw all hearing. Brilliant.
Mitchell: "Hey, PhD in Psychology who's written papers on Children's Trauma, have you ever heard of a Cognitive Interview, which is the industry standard backed by experts, for investigating trauma?"
Ford: "Uh, no."
Mitchell: "Hey, you might want to learn about that, being in your field of expertise, after all. That might have been a better option than getting an attorney, a polygraph, and coming here."
Ford: (uncomfortable silence)
Well, seriously, the woman doesn't look/act like a liar to most people, per her testimony today. Looks like a little, hurt child, that is confused by everything that is happening around her and doesn't remember things that happened last month, much less 30+ years ago.
She has lawyers almost knocking her over whenever she tries to answer certain questions. You can see her confusion on why they are getting so upset.
The Dems aren't asking any questions. They are providing cover for their story and making sure nothing THEY do gets her off the script prepared before this hearing.
Then you find out that she has been LED by Feinstein to get at least ONE of these lawyers, who are controlling what she does, doesn't do, where she goes, doesn't go, etc. Ford left us with the impression that the lawyers didn't TELL her that the investigators would come to her home, so she didn't have to come to Washington, which corroborates Republican's claims that Dem's planned all this and are using the woman.
She also doesn't understand the ramifications/cost of what's going on, but they have told her it's going to be taken care of through Go Fund Me?
If Ford is a actress, she played the part too well, and it's going to backfire.....because we still don't have evidence on Kavanaugh assaulting her, but we sure as heck have BIG TIME evidence, from her testimony, that the Democrats have abused an emotionally delicate woman.
