Do you think that's just the Jud. Committee, or extends to the wobblers in the rest of the GOP Caucus?
I think this:
1) Every one of those Pubbie Senators know how ticked-off we are. If they vote him down they are toast. It’s the beginning of the end of the party.
2) Mitch McConnell knows if the Dems get away with this then the judicial confirmation process is broken, never to be fixed. Not gonna happen on his watch. He’ll use every threat at his disposal to keep them in line.
3) As many have observed here, the majority of women are NOT buying this. There is no great wave of outrage from women aimed at them. What they are facing from us is much worse.
4) Kavanaugh is a made member of the GOPe and they all know that if the Dems get away with using this tactic on him, they are next.
For that reason I think the judge gets confirmed.
