Is it worth the risk to have a relationship with a woman. Is it worth the risk to marry.
Is there any way to have kids WITHOUT having to have a relationship with women.
I have 2 boys and a girl. Their all worried. Boys are worried about the how - what’s the right way to express interest, etc. My daughter? She’s in a relationship right now, but her friends are finding that everything is changing. She has friends who want to date, and there are plenty of single guys who are just not.
Not worth the drama, the investment in time.
Technology is going to change things too. Sex aids for men are leapfrogging the technology available for women.
I look at this through the prism of market forces. The barriers to a relationship that has a reasonable chance of not resulting in losing access to your kids and half (or more) of your property are exceedingly high.
The ONLY people who can fix that are women. Full stop.
What I find interesting is that while prostitution is generally illegal, technology is figuring a way around that. That prostitution was illegal was related to the motivations that led the State to foster marriage - it’s good for the State, good for society, etc.
Prostitution is bad for that, but now the value of marriage/good parenting/family integrity is now deemed low. At what point does intimacy become a strict matter of commercial exchange?

Maybe they should try “Duggar Dating” .... girls are not allowed to be alone with any male, who is not a family member, at any time until they are married. They are chaperoned when dating, even through engagement until they say “I do”. Just change girls to girls/guys, male to male/female & it works for both sexes. After marriage, the guys can employ the “Pence Rule”.
In this day and age, I’m only somewhat ‘not serious’ here.
