The Republican Senators might .... the Democrats are an automatic NO on anyone Trump nominates and this has been stated publicly.
Our wise FReeper LS says much has been done to give cover to the weak Rep Senators to vote for Kav. In my opinion this has been done by the introduction of reasonable doubt due to Ford’s bad long-term and short-term memories and not attacking her directly.
LS also says: “We may be seeing here that you can have Judge K confirmed, or have the emotional pleasure of having Edsel [Ford] ripped apart. But not both.”
