I think it is obvious our nation is now ruled by emotion.

We have crossed a dangerous threshold. Rule by emotions is essentially mob rule.
The left is going to lynch Kavanaugh, whether he’s confirmed or not. They have been looking for a victim to lynch and Kavanaugh is it.

Imagine driving thru an unfamiliar city using how you feel to decide if you should turn left, right or go straight! That is where many in our country are at - emoting rather than thinking.
How often do you hear people say, “Follow your heart!” No! Use your damn mind!
The emoters will love Ford. The thinkers will not.
