Sounds to me like Ford spoke of two separate incidents to her therapist. One at 15 (Kavanaugh) and another incident while in her late teens.

The first was when she responded with some psychological mumbo jumbo and the second time was when she began to describe a possible congenital physical predisposition to PTSD (as opposed to a causal life event).
