Even if Flake could have forced the original invitation, Grassley could have ended it as soon as the first deadline was not met.
Flake needs to be taken aside... and he needs to be told he was effectively lied to by Mrs. Ford.

Vote him out of committee and to the full floor, and if the GOP caves to the gaslighting they are done....
Personally I don’t see anyone caving on this, and expect him to be confirmed by all Republicans and a few red state democrats going along trying to save their seats....
